We are pleased to continue THE FLEA MARKET AT EASTERN MARKET ON CAPITOL HILL in Washington, DC, EVERY SUNDAY and The SATURDAY FLEA MARKET AT EASTERN MARKET on the C Street Plaza.  

In 2024 we continued an agreement with the District of Columbia for OUR 41st SEASON, and our 7th for the C Street Plaza with 700 Penn.

The Sunday flea market is located along 7th Street SE between Pennsylvania and C Street SE, and also on C Street SE between 7th & 8th Streets SE. The Saturday flea market is only on C Street.
Advertised hours are 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

While emphasizing antiques, arts, collectibles, crafts, and imports, the high-quality markets feature a mix of unique products. Handmade items, artwork, imported handcrafts (Fair-Trade preferred), vintage and antique furnishings and select specialty foods are featured.
A limited amount of qualified prepared food businesses may be accepted under these prerequisite regulations.

The Eastern Market Metro Station (Orange/Blue/Silver Lines) is across the street at 7th & Pennsylvania. The location is enhanced by a fine urban neighborhood. It is A FUN PLACE TO SELL.

PRICING: The Saturday market offers one space size. 10x10 single spaces are $80 and are located on the C Street Plaza.

The Sunday market offers two space sizes. 10x10 single spaces are $80 and are located on the C Street Plaza. 10x15 single spaces are $140 per set up and are located on 7th Street.
Prepared food business pricing is $120 for a 10x10 and $210 for a 10x15 space.  

Reservations and payment must be made at least 10 days in advance of the requested date.

First Time Reservations: PREPAYMENT AND A ONE TIME NON-REFUNDABLE $30 APPLICATION FEE IS REQUIRED.
   
The prepayment should be for one Market date only. It will be either refunded or transferred for use on another date if you cancel 4 days in advance or if we cannot accommodate you. A prepayment does not guarantee a space assignment but will assure a place on our waiting list for the date specified on the reservation if your product qualifies for the market.

We will contact you via email at least 48 hours in advance of your reservation to confirm we can accommodate you. Your affirmative response is required. Exhibitors must bring their own tables and chairs and overhead protection from bad weather.

Market Managers will greet exhibitors at the 8th Street entrance of the C Street Plaza (in front of the parking garage) on Saturdays and at 7th and Pennsylvania Ave SE on Sundays. After receiving a space assignment and unloading, parking is available in the parking garage.

Parking costs $4 after having management validate the parking ticket. Exhibitors must remove vehicles after unloading, with no exceptions. ALL vehicles must be off the market area by 8:30 am.

All participants are expected to display their products in a professional and inviting way. Individual signage is encouraged. Only pre-approved products may be displayed.

DMM reserves the right to restrict or reject any exhibitor with products deemed unsuitable. Prohibited items include animals, weapons, explicit sexual material, personal services (such as henna tattoos or massages), illegal CDs, DVDs, and other unauthorized “knock offs.”

We also do not accept bicycle sellers. Exhibitors should not bring dogs and other pets, nor should they play music in their booth that interferes with a neighboring booth. Smoking is prohibited within the market booth areas.

No vendor's license is required. However, exhibitors are required to collect and pay appropriate sales taxes to the DC government. Information is available online, at 202-727-4TAX, or in person at 1101 4th Street, SW, Suite 270 West, Washington, DC 20024.

In support, we shall continue ADVERTISING in selected publications, with distributions to the community and to major hotels, frequently on social media platforms and at easternmarket.net, which attracts about 3 million visitors per year. Additionally, its periodic newsletter now has more than 9500 subscribers.
